rolandance An anthem for all the restless people in the world, set to some amazingly beautiful music. Life is short, death is long. Even stars turn to black holes. Why waste another day without listening to this essential album? Favorite track: May The Bridges I Burn Light The Way.

Fractured Bones Relentlessly red lips parting to whisper secrets But I guess it's the way her hair reveals the neck he never forgets Did you ever notice how the tough choices seem to leave inevitable trails of uncertainty in our voices?   My thoughts are disappearing in the time between the seconds Is that thunder in the distance? There is always a story hidden underneath it all In less than a second the first raindrops will start to fall   Bones always try to bend under strain but exposed to more than they can take they cease resistance and break Maybe it’s too late but I’ll be waiting for you under that old copper beech, I once told you about, by the lake   My thoughts are disappearing in the time between the seconds Is that thunder in the distance? There is always a story hidden underneath it all In less than a second the first raindrops will start to fall

May The Bridges I Burn Light The Way I guess I fell off the Earth again It seems gravity lets go of me every now and then What do you see on the back of your eyelids when you close your eyes? In there in the undisturbed dark it is sometimes easier to see if you’ve been led astray May the bridges I need to burn light the way I’ve read somewhere that interplanetary dust particles find themselves between the end of one star’s lifetime and the beginning of the formation of a new solar system I’m sorry but I can’t stay May the bridges I burn light the way I’m sorry but I can’t stay May the bridges I burn light the way The Earth casts its shadow into space while you close your eyes and I wonder what secrets you keep in the lines on your face I guess we are both beautifully broken in our own ways I’m sorry but I can’t stay May the bridges I burn light the way I’m sorry but I can’t stay May the bridges I burn light the way

Straight Lines There is something vastly captivating about straight lines Especially the ones extending infinitely in opposite directions I wonder where they are off to as they disappear into the stillness beyond the pines Straight lines Straight lines It is beautiful how they cut through all the complex structures surrounding them completely unaffected I love you dangerously but you know where to find me Straight lines Straight lines Straight lines Straight lines Straight lines Straight lines Straight lines Straight lines Vertiginous drops to the valleys below Like a fragment of lost words I heard somewhere a long time ago Straight lines Straight lines Straight lines Straight lines Straight lines Straight lines

Restlessness 03:06
Restlessness Restlessness, restlessness That constant longing for something I can’t explain will always be hovering in the corners of my mind I guess When I was a kid I was sure I’d turn to stone if I had to stay at the same place for too long and I guess I’ve never stuck around anywhere long enough to find out if I was wrong Restlessness, restlessness You used to laugh and remind me that it’s my own fault that my life is always such a mess Recently I’ve been reading a lot about black holes And I’m sure if we listen carefully enough we can hear them whisper secret to our souls When I was a kid I was sure I’d turn to stone if I had to stay at the same place for too long and I guess I’ve never stuck around anywhere long enough to find out if I was wrong

On The Verge Of The Usual Mistake She finds herself on the verge of the usual mistake as she disappears between the city lights reflected in the lake Tiny pieces of injured dreams are falling towards the Earth like snow  But no one seems to notice how beautifully they illuminate the city from below The unintentional beauty of the vacant lots remind me of her vanishing into the night in an elegantly frayed synthetic fur
Tiny pieces of injured dreams are falling towards the Earth like snow  But no one seems to notice how beautifully they illuminate the city from below 93 million miles from the sun Tomorrow she’ll rest in the ashes of what can’t be undone    Tiny pieces of injured dreams are falling towards the Earth like snow  But no one seems to notice how beautifully they illuminate the city from below

Come Away With Me The dessert reminds me of bones turned inside out and irrelevant thoughts desiccated into dust Beautifully complicated like the abstract maps silently hiding in the textures of rust  Come away with me  Come away with me Let’s follow the unanswered questions further into the desert You look so ridiculously good in that shirt Come away with me  Come away with me The veins on the back of your hand seem like portable reflections of the shadows resting in the lines in the sand Come away with me  Come away with me Nothing is ever going to change unless we start to see things differently Come away with me  Come away with me
7.
When The Shadows Start Moving Like Secrets The sun just disappeared into the ocean but translucent clouds reflect the last rays with radiant devotion The sand is still warm and damn you look good with your salty hair falling down over your eyes Here we are Right between sunset and nightfall This brief hesitation caused by the Earth’s rotation My thoughts are drifting away between breaking waves like strayed wanderers and the shadows start moving like secrets Here we are Right between sunset and nightfall This brief hesitation caused by the Earth’s rotation Behind us the city is waiting for our ceaseless restlessness to take over Always present in my blood like a wild rover You pass me the rum as we disappear down vibrant streets I don’t think we’re gonna get any sleep tonight But I’m up for a morning swim when we reach daylight
8.
Driving At Night Another city is disappearing behind us I watch the last streetlights fade away in the rearview mirror An exhilarating rush through my veins as we are driving into the darkness in front of us I feel free free free free and the salt in the air tells us we are getting closer to the sea I don’t know how you got this car and we’ve both lost track of where we are But some of the most beautiful paths can only be discovered by getting lost We kiss the speedlimit goodbye A sense of euphoria that reminds me of recent dreams where I dreamt I could fly I feel free free free free and the salt in the air tells us we are getting closer to the sea When we go back I know that something needs to change But right now life is just as beautiful as the stars above the mountain range
